Frederick, MD — Nick Damoulakis, CEO of Orases, is celebrating 15 years of membership in Vistage, an advisory organization that unites CEOs to share insights, refine leadership skills, and improve decision-making through regular meetings, coaching, and educational resources.
Damoulakis credits Vistage with much of Orases’ success, stating, “Many of the successful initiatives we have implemented at Orases has come, in one way or another, from Vistage.” He also believes his peer group has significantly influenced his leadership style and contributed to the company’s growth.
Through Vistage, Damoulakis receives valuable advice from fellow CEOs, helping him navigate challenges and identify opportunities. He values the supportive environment and collaborative problem-solving the group provides. Additionally, Vistage coaching has helped him improve his overall work-life balance, enabling him to pursue volunteer opportunities and projects outside the office.
Reflecting on his tenure, Damoulakis said, “Joining Vistage has been one of the most impactful decisions I’ve made as a CEO. My peer group has been an essential sounding board over the years, offering diverse perspectives that have helped me make more informed choices.”
“Nick’s thirst for knowledge makes him a joy to coach. What truly sets him apart is his deep care for the people and things that matter most—his family, employees, business, colleagues, community, and friends,” said Ed Robinson, Damoulakis’s coach. “It’s this genuine passion that drives his success in so many areas of life.”
Vistage offers a platform for CEOs to learn from each other, discover new opportunities, and address challenges. While the group’s structure remains consistent, discussion topics evolve to reflect industry changes and members’ needs.
