The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is the national association of immigration lawyers established to promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.
The American Immigration Lawyers Association is a voluntary bar association of more than 15,000 immigration attorneys, teachers and professors who practice and teach immigration law.

The Challenge
Unified work, performed on separate platforms
The aim of this project was to provide a flexible events management system and eCommerce product management solution, which reduces double entry for AILA employees. The new system would introduce efficiencies for AILA employees and administration allowing them to focus on increasing overall productivity and engagement by aligning systems in one central location.
Particularly, through the update in events and product management, employees would be able to market to existing and new AILA users and vendors more effectively. Additionally, AILA users should experience a new, easier online shopping interface for events and products.

Centralized platform for products, memberships & registration alike.
Orases expanded the AILA Anywhere platform to include modules that control the AILA store. These modules allow digital & physical goods, membership and conference registration to be organized in matching paradigms so that they can all be treated as products. This allows the control for these items to be in one place.

Intuitive front-end design with access to better customer experience insights.
Digital and physical goods, Membership, and Conference registration are now all accessible in one admin platform to AILA staff and the data about these are connected to a user’s record. This allows for greater insight into the person’s purchases and preferences.
For the front end users of the AILA store, they now have access to an intuitive and modern interface that makes for an easy to navigate store and accessible on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
Centralized Platform
The store and conference registrations are controlled in the same admin as their person/member data.
Connected Records
Products, conferences, and membership data are now connected to the person record.
Mobile Responsive
A modern design template was implemented and customized. Page layouts were created to be mobile responsive.
