Amy graduated from Frostburg State University BS in Computer Science in 1998 and in 2001 she graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology MS in Information Technology with specializations in Business Analysis & Design and Project Management.
Right out of her undergrad she went to work for Washington County ARC working on Y2K bug fixes for their legacy accounting and payroll software and internal networks. She then went to RIT and started Orases with Nick. Amy has always worked with the client side of operations focusing on project management and accounting/finances for the company.
Amy tends to be a data hound and loves to analyze numbers to then go back to the people side of the business to better understand why and improve processes for the future.
As a Mom of two busy teenagers there isn’t much time outside of sports fields and taxing back and forth to practices! Amy has a Peloton bike that she loves and participates in PowerZone challenges religiously. She loves to travel and visit new places, off the beaten path when possible. Amy also loves showing her kids different cultures and beliefs and raising them to think beyond their own rituals/lives/existence.
