The Office of Economic Development has released its Top 50 Workplaces in Frederick County. Orases was chosen as one of the top 50 from a collection of more than 130 nominees.
“These 50 organizations represent a very diverse list of exceptional workplaces here in Frederick,” said Orases president Nick Damoulakis. “Each of them has shown how much they value their teams’ specific needs in creating a desirable and productive work environment.”
Companies were selected based on employee testimonials and each workplace’s unique strategies to attract and retain top talent. The final list also included criteria based on the company’s individual responses on the following:
- Median salary
- Benefits
- Community involvement
- Work environment
- Professional growth opportunities
- Work-life balance
“Being a champion for your employees is a choice, and we at Orases appreciate that the county took the time to recognize companies like us for implementing great workplace programs,” Damoulakis continued. “Of course, being a great place to work has a direct impact on our ability to provide our clients with visionary solutions and exceptional service, but it also has a sizable impact on Frederick’s economic progress, too. And we love that because we love this area.”
