Increasing Memberships & Improving User Experience
Orases updated Construction Financial Management Association’s website to create a seamless user experience
The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) focuses on using the power of education, networking and information to serve the needs and requirements of construction financial managers and their service providers. The Construction Financial Management Association offers a platform for those operating in the construction industry which provides them the ability to lend and attain support, information and guidance from their peers.

Client
Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA)
Project Name
National Association Website Redesign
The Challenge
Poor user-experience due to an outdated site and inefficient third-party integrations.
The Construction Financial Management Association had an outdated website which plagued their members and visitors with a clunky user experience, resulting in a noticeable stagnation in new membership inquiries and signups. Their website navigation was confusing and the third-party integrations made it challenging for users to seamlessly navigate throughout the site.
Their frustrating website layout and poor navigation was detrimental towards their efforts of acquiring new members and essentially eliminated the benefits of their primary offering to new and existing members (providing their members a platform to communicate and offer industry insights to other members).

Solution
New website focused on user experience and content creation and dissemination.
The website development team at Orases worked directly with the Construction Financial Management Association and their third-party vendors to build a modern website that makes it simple to navigate and is intuitively easy to use. In addition to developing a website focused on user experience, Orases was also able to develop a “content hub” which houses all of their research and articles for their members to find and add to.
The newly added “content hub” provided their existing members the ability to easily add their own content and provide advice and support to other members. This “content hub” gives the Construction Financial Management Association the leverage they need to become a content leader within the Construction Financial Management sector.

Results
Streamlined processes by consolidating content & systems.
In addition to creating a new user-focused website for the CFMA, Orases was also able to consolidate four separate systems into one and their content, thus decreasing their overall page volume by creating easy-to-edit chapter site subdomains.
The login process for users was also streamlined, eliminating the need for users to login over and over again. CFMA also became OWASP compliant after Orases performed a full security audit before making the new website live.
